City Police          A former Sault Ste. Marie police officer is facing a number of sexual assault related charges in connection with reported incidents dating back to the 80’s involving multiple males.  The SIU was contacted by the Sault Police Service back in February and their investigation determined that the alleged incidents occured between the years of 1981 and 1987 involving four males.  As a result, Constable David Scott who is now an officer with the OPP in Espanola, is facing two counts of indecent assault, 4 counts of gross indecency and 3 counts of sexual assault.  The officer is scheduled to appear in Court in Sault Ste. Marie on July 6th.
