Lake Superior Figure Skaters Breanne and Jordan Derochie Bring Gold Medal Back From Ontario StarSkate Championships!

Supplied by the Lake Superior Figure Skating Club…     Lake Superior Figure Skating Club skaters Breanne and Jordan Derochie had one of their best skates at the Ontario StarSkate championships held in Brampton this past weekend. The skaters earned a  Gold medal in the Pre Juvenile Pairs category.

Kerry Bain, Competitive Coach and Director of Skating for the Lake Superior Figure Skating Club was very pleased with the weekend’s results.  ” It was a great learning experience for our skaters, including some who were competing at Provincials for the first time.  Our skaters scored a personal best leaving this competition satisfied with their performance.”

The LSFSC coaching team and board of directors would like to congratulate the eight skaters who competed this past weekend at the 2015 Skate Ontario Championship in Brampton.  They all represented the Lake Superior FSC with pride while also representing the Northern Ontario Section.  Our skaters had a tremendous season and worked very hard to qualify for provincials, we are extremely proud of their results.

The Lake Superior Figure Skating Club will finish off the season at Let’s Skate in Sudbury on the weekend of April 10th.  Good luck to all our skaters!
