news-Civic Centre

As part of the city asset management plan, council decided on Monday to move forward with much needed exterior work on Civic Centre.
The cost of the project is 6.5-million dollars and has already been budgeted for.
The current exterior system has deteriorated to the point of air and water barrier deficiencies.
Council was told the current brown siding and gold tinted windows aren’t available and the replacement will involve white siding and clear windows.
Construction work on the exterior is expected to get underway in the fall.
