Applications now Being Accepted for United Way Bursary

Supplied…    United Way Sault Ste. Marie and district is offering 2 bursaries, valued at $1,500 each, which will be awarded for the 2016/2017 academic year. Bursaries will be paid directly to Sault College on behalf of the successful candidate in two instalments of $750 per semester. The United Way of Sault Ste. Marie and district Bursary Program is available to students who are enrolled in a post-secondary program at Sault College who meet the following criteria: ” Student: o is graduating from a secondary school in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario or the district of Algoma from White River to Elliot Lake or  o is returning to Sault College for the 2nd & or  3rd year of their program and has graduated from a secondary school in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario or the district of Algoma from White River to Elliot Lake or o is a mature student who has attended high school in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario or the district of Algoma from White River to Elliot Lake and are currently living in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario or the district of Algoma from White River to Elliot Lake. ” Student has been accepted into a Sault College program ” Student demonstrates financial need ” Student has demonstrated significant volunteer involvement in his / her community
