Prime Minister Justin Trudeau provided further details of the federal government’s financial commitment for transit services during a visit to Sault Ste. The Federal government will be entering into negotiations with the province but Sault MP Terry Sheehan suggested that could be around 3 million dollars this year for the Sault.  Trudeau says the federal government will provide 50% of the funding for eligible projects and there will be more flexibility in how the funds are spent…

Mayor Provenzano says one major project the city has to consider over the next couple of years is the possible replacement of the bus barn or the City Transit Headquarters where this morning’s announcement took place.
