City Police arrested 45 year old Donald Corey of West Street yesterday afternoon – for driving while prohibited. Police received several calls over the weekend about two suspicious males going door-to-door and asking to come inside so as to check on the homeowners furnace filter … in one case suggesting it was required under a city bylaw.  None of the homeowners allowed the people in – which police advise was the right thing to do – especially if you have not called their company or do not know them. There was also a breakin to a home on Wallace Terrace last evening where some jewellery was taken.
