SSMPoliceCity Police are investigating after officers were called to a disturbance at a home on Albert Street East yesterday morning before 11.  Broken windows and blood were discovered in the porch area of the home.  A 26 year old male was arrested and faces charges of obstructing police, assaulting police and resisting arrest.  A 21 year old female was also charged with breach of undertaking.  The pair are scheduled to appear in court on February 8th.

Police were also called to a single vehicle accident in the 900 block of Goulais Avenue before 4 yesterday morning.  Police, Fire and EMS responded — four occupants in the vehicle were removed and taken to hospital by EMS with major injuries.  According to police, a white pickup truck was heading north when it left the road and struck a culvert on the east side of Goulais Avenue.  A 16 year old male faces three counts of impaired driving causing bodily harm and breach of recognizance.  Further charges are pending as the investigation continues.

Sault Police made an arrest yesterday after a man allegedly made threats to shoot police.  The threats were made by phone — police arrested the individual at an Albert Street address.  59 year old Paul Nicholson faces a charge of threatening death when he appears in court on February 8th.

Police also charged a female after she was found near Market Mall on Second Line West.  A check of the female revealed an outstanding warrant for two counts of breach of probation.  28 year old Samantha Barrett is scheduled to appear in court on February 2nd.
