City police charged a 23 year old female overnight for failure to pay for two cab rides yesterday. Early yesterday morning someone cut a hole in a fence around a business on Sackville Road – got into a tent – and stole a large amount of copper wire.   Around the sametime someone cut the lock into a gated compound at another Sackville business – cut the lock on a trailer – and made off with a Dewalt impact drill. And sometime during the past week someone broke into an apartment on Northern Avenue – coming in through a bedroom window – and making off with various electronic items and some clothes.
