TORONTO — Hedley’s concert slated for Caesars Windsor next month has been cancelled.

The casino operator has notified fans that the March 11 show will no longer go forward.

The company didn’t provide reasons for the decision, or say who made it.

Refunds will be offered to all ticket buyers.

The decision comes after a number of sexual misconduct allegations were levelled against the band earlier this month on social media, mostly by anonymous users.

It led the band to withdraw from consideration for three Juno Awards and back out of performing on the telecast.

The band’s members have called the allegations involving young fans “unsubstantiated,” but acknowledged that in the past they “engaged in a lifestyle that incorporated certain rock ‘n’ roll cliches.”

The band was due to play in Kingston, Ont., on Tuesday night.
